Liz is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Certified First Responder Counselor, and founder of Frontline Mental Health Services, a Washington, DC–based psychiatric practice dedicated to serving law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, healthcare workers, and government professionals. She provides trauma-informed psychiatric care tailored to the unique demands of public safety work, integrating medication management and supportive psychotherapy to address occupational stress and cumulative trauma exposure.
Her clinical expertise is grounded in over a decade of experience working alongside first responders in the trauma resuscitation unit at Washington, DC’s premier Level I trauma center—a role she maintains part-time today. This sustained frontline engagement provides her with ongoing, firsthand insight into the operational realities and psychological demands faced by the professionals she serves.
Liz holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Massachusetts. This dual background allows her to integrate clinical precision with a nuanced understanding of public safety systems and culture, offering care that is both evidence-based and deeply attuned to the realities of first responder life.
Certified First Responder Counselor
