About
Kelli Mosley, LMFT, is the founder of Mended Hopes and brings over 20 years of experience working in social services, managing high profile cases, crisis, and high-stress environments. She specializes in supporting the responder community impacted by operational stress and repeated exposure to critical incidents.
Kelli is trained in evidence-based interventions, including DBT and CBT, and also has a certification in Brainspotting, which helps clients process high-impact experiences without needing to retell every detail which is more common in traditional talk therapy.
Her background includes serving as a Clinical Program Manager within the juvenile justice system, where she worked closely alongside law enforcement and correctional professionals in real-world settings. She supported staff in the field, participated in ride-alongs, and facilitated peer support groups, giving her a strong understanding of the culture and demands of structured service environments.
She has also worked in correctional mental health, Child Protective Services investigations, and direct clinical care for individuals in the responder community.
While Kelli brings extensive experience, she also believes no single clinician can fully understand every lived experience. She values humility in her work, remains committed to ongoing learning, and approaches each client with curiosity, respect, and openness.
Kelli understands what it means to carry the weight of the job, stay functional under pressure, and continue showing up despite chronic exposure to high-stress experiences. Her approach is straightforward, respectful, and grounded in trust—not judgment.
She provides a space where members of the responder community do not have to explain the basics of their experience—only the impact it is having. Her focus is helping clients build stability, resilience, and long-term well-being both in service and beyond it.
