Dr. Angela Waggoner, Ph.D., LPC-S, NCC, ACS specializes in helping first responders heal from the emotional toll of serving others. She provides compassionate, trauma-informed counseling for law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, correctional officers, healthcare professionals, and their families. Using evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dr. Waggoner helps clients navigate PTSD, critical incident stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, moral injury, and relationship challenges. She offers both virtual and in-person counseling, creating a safe, confidential space where first responders can build resilience, restore hope, and continue serving with strength, purpose, and renewed well-being.
Certified First Responder Counselor
Lighthouse-issued certification for clinicians serving first responder populations. Holders complete annual continuing education and maintain an active subscription to retain credential standing.
