Do you feel misunderstood in relationships or struggle to put words to what you’re carrying inside? Do you notice the weight of the job following you home? First responders face unique pressures and repeated exposure to trauma that affect mental health, relationships, and well-being. In a time of intense public scrutiny, debates over policing, and evolving expectations for law enforcement, that pressure can feel even heavier. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you toward understanding, healing, and renewed connection.
Through my work with trauma survivors, I’ve seen the remarkable courage and resourcefulness people bring to their lives. I help individuals honor these strengths while navigating challenges. You don’t have to face this alone—reach out and let’s begin this journey together.
I am a graduate of Luther College with a degree in Social Work and the University of Illinois Chicago with a Masters in Social Work. I have worked in and around law enforcement for more than 25 years. In 2017, I began my private practice specializing in the treatment of trauma and anxiety. I am married 30 years with two grown children.
