LaKeisha is a mental health professional who has provided care to children, individuals and families in many capacities for 20 years.

LaKeisha is dedicated to assist individuals that have chosen careers as first responders, and to their families. She recognizes the need to offer support to those individuals that encounter a trauma surge daily. Assisting with processing and symptom management is critical for this population. The inability to handle emotions associated with the demands of the job can negatively impact the public safety officer, marriage, family, friendships and life overall. The hyperactivity of the profession itself leads to the necessity for increased awareness and support for this population. LaKeisha strives to provide that support. 

Support is provided for family members as well, as they are highly impacted. Heightened anxiety, increased worrying, interrupted family functions, rotating hours...all the things that come along with loving a first responder. LaKeisha here to assist both the individuals on the front lines and the families who support them.

I work well with adults, 18 and up. I am currently not accepting children.
