Heather holds a Masters in Counseling from Seton Hall University and is a USN veteran. She works well with both youth and adult clients as well as couples and families. She has experience with a wide range of issues including; suicidal ideation, anxiety, depression, grief, anger management/domestic violence, alcohol and drug addiction and PTSD. In addition, Heather has extensive experience working with families in all stages of the adoption process. Heather is passionate about helping individuals and families have a holistic healing process geared toward developing a healthy approach to life and relationships. She believes in an individualized treatment planning process. She is trained in multiple evidence-based practices including DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), trauma-informed CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), CPS (Collaborative Problem Solving), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing).
