Angela grew up with a passion to help people and wanted to be a police officer. She completed an Associate Degree in Police Science in 1996 but then shifted her focus to counseling. Over the past 25 years she has worked with people experiencing Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders; Trauma Victims; people with HIV/AIDS; and in Crisis Intervention; as well as people dealing with grief, developmental disabilities, behavioral issues, and homelessness. Combining her early education and her extensive experience in counseling, Angela felt that being a Certified First Responder Counselor was not only important but necessary. Angela is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Crisis Intervention Counselor, Certified First Responder Counselor, and an Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor in North East, PA.
