Alexis Wilhelmi is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) through the state of Maryland. Alexis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. She also has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alexis represents St. Mary's County as the Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Coordinator and is also an instructor for CIT Southern Maryland. She is a certified Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) instructor and has completed certifications in Assisting Individuals in Crisis, Group Crisis Intervention, and Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation (ICISF).
